Mica

MICA is used to control lost circulation in water and oil base drilling fluids. MICA is made available in fine (F), medium (M), and coarse (C) grades.
MICA is inert and can be used both in water and oil-based drilling fluid with no negative effect on drilling fluid properties.
The fine grade of MICA can be circulated through a 20 mesh screen. Larger grades will be removed from the system unless the solids control equipment is bypassed.
